Learning as I go. Ordered a set of really cheap stans crest ztr. A real bargain. This was about a year ago, on ebay. What I didn't look at was rear hub. Front has 3.30 Ti. Rear has singlespeed Ztr. So, a simple change of the body, I thought. I was wrong. I contacted Stans NoTubes and asked about the body, and the answer was that hub doesn't have conversion - stuck with ss.
I know, from learning as I go and searching the web, that sometimes there are solutions to problems in the world of cycling.
Has anybody here made a body-change on this hub? Thanx for response.

SS hubs have a wider hub shell in favor of a shorter freehub body.

Adding a full Shimano freehub would make the total hub width wider than boost. Probably wider than 157 superboost.

You can however get 6 gears on there

Yes. I've also "heard" that even 7 is possible. But this is going on a jr-mtb for competition/racing, and I'm selling it with 11 gears so gotta change backwheel or learn to lace a wheel and change hub.
