From the description: "Coming this Spring 2011..." so I suspect it's a preview, coming attraction sorta thing...
Stan called me yesterday to talk about all things 650b and said that the rims are [literally] in production now. He didn't say how long that would take or when they would be landing...

So the Flow will be a dedicated tubeless wheel? Are there dedicated tubeless tires to match yet? My ghetto setup with Blunt's and Neo-Motos is holding up well enough, but still not as bullet proof as my old Mavic 818 and Maxxis Crossmark 26" setup. I would really like to go to a purpose-built tubeless 650b wheelset.

I doubt it.

Given the past sales performance of that rim, it's unlikely that they'd be willing to hold another 2.5 years of inventory.
Actually, Stan says he's got a run of 650b 355's in production now. Kent Ericksen convinced him to get another batch made. Better get your order in quick; it sounds like they are selling out fast.

so which one of these would make a better XC race rim? the lighter weight one if I were to make an assumption?
hoping to build up something with my 240 hubs that is comparable to my xc race 26" roval' wheels.

Kirk,
Keep up the good work in getting the industry behind this wheel size. I too, will be making a push within the industry to get more going in the 650b market. Im currently working on a small bikeshop/ online retailer committed to the niche markets ie: single speed/ fixie/ track, cyclocross and 650b, as well as contining my work for Hurricane Components.

I totally believe in the 650b wheel size since riding and switching (on a couple bikes) For now on, every offroad bike I buy will be either a 650b dedicated bike or modified like my Biachi DISS.
I'll keep you posted and someday hope to meet up with you.

That's a useful comparison of weights! Does anyone have a similar comparison of widths? (inner width preferred but either is acceptable). Oh, and you forgot the P-35! :D
