I've got an SS2 on order, so I've been asking the same question. The links below should help. I've only used the tf-tuned one before, but it's calculations have been spot on with the sunday and socom I've used it for.

What made you decide for an SS2?

I'm still undecided between that and an '11 951 as there's so little difference in weight between the two......
I've still got the sunday, so a mini dh bike I can ride up to my local dh trails will round things out nicely for me. 1x10 and a reverb post will help with that. I used the socom that way for a while, but I felt it was too steep and tall in comparison with the sunday.

Ah right, that makes sense then.

I'm currently on a Tracer VP, but looking for something more burly - hence the SS2 or 951 thing
I am 200.
I started with 400 (or 420 not sure), moved to 450 and now gonna put 500 or 480.
