Can I convert the FSA K-Force Light Carbon 2x9 Mountain Bike Crankset 175 to a single speed just by replacing the chainring and bolts?
Thanks Joe

I don't know what the bcd is on those cranks but as long as you have the same I don't think it would be a problem, what are you running now and what do you want to go to?

I just picked up a set of Shimano SLX's with BB for cheap and going to get gogs and chainring and nut tuggers from Homebrewed Compents, I am rebuilding a Redline Monocog 29

Confused, you picked up a new crankset from shimano and you are going to run Homebrewed Comp chainring on it? So are you not using the FSA? Whatever you are saying just make sure the bcd on the new rings is compatible with the crankset you are using. I think the SLX uses 104
