SS Gearing for Shenandoah 100

Riding a Rigid 29er SS & going for my first Hundie! This is my third season on the SS and I've learned the hard way not to over-gear on endurance races!

Was wondering what you other SS's use for gearing at the SM100...especially compared to other types of races!?!?

Some example gears I use:

Dark Horse 40: 51 gear inches
Pat's Peak 6hr solo: 41 gear inches
VT 30 (aka 666): 37 gear inches

I've found that I can turn larger gears on these races, but the climbing over distance limits my rpm's & efficiency.

Thanks!
