[TRAIL CRANKER]

HI! I am in need of some help , my XT rd m739 is worn out on my 98 Specialized S.Jumper FS A1 Aluminum frame , i have Sram 8 speed Cassette11-32 and 9 speed Shamino triple crank 22t, 32t and 44t question would a Medium Sram X9 work on all gears or would i have some not work ?? I know i would have to change the grip shifters for the 1:1 ratio. Any help most appreciated . Thanks
