Define iffy? it might just need to be adjusted, not uncommon in the first few rides of a new bike as cables can stretch and the housing settle down in the guides and end caps... I have found that after that, SRAM transmissions keep their adjustment a long time, usually when it starts to need re-adjustement, it's because the cables are dead.
SRAM X9/0 or go Shimano
After a few days riding, I have found the X.5 combo on my SL F5 i'm using is a bit "iffy". If I wanted to upgrade, which would you recommend? I know the Shimano would entail greater cost as it isn't a 1:1 and I would need shifters too..I guess it would be mainly road use for now.
