My GT iDrive 4 4.0 has SRAM SX.5 shifters. What is the SX.5? SRAM's website only shows the X.5.

Is the X.7 a good upgrade?

Yea, the X7 would be a sweet upgrade.
I like the newer kind that has adopted the X9 technologies.

Either would be better than the SX5 though.

Make sure that whatever you get, it has the same amount of speeds as yours has.
I swore SX5 was 8spd.
