switch to a cotter pin. dont use the clip or they also come with new pads
SRAM pad pin safety clip
I have SRAM Guide R brakes and broke the safety clip that goes on the end of the pad pin. I can't seem to find any listed as for Guide brakes. Are SRAM brakes Sram brakes in this regard? Meaning are they all the same for the pin and clip? Any substitutes for these clips?

Yeah the clips are all the same and they come with new pads- I probably have like 15 of those clips laying around at this point--lol. Definitely use the clip, though. I inadvertently neglected to install the clip some years ago and lost my pads on a rocky downhill. Luckily I had a spare set up in my pack.
