Swapped my XT stuff for X9 in an effort to quiet the bike down some. ...

Interested to hear from Reign1 owners how long the original chain was with the 11-34/44T combo... I assume the original X0 derailleur is long cage?

(When I cycle the suspension there is significant chain growth near the end of the stroke. Correct chain length is supposedly fairly crucial with SRAM due to the rigid uni-directional mount and I don't want to find my new shiny stuff in the spokes... ).

I use a SRAM powerlink on mine , so I whipped it off and measured the overall length without the link , 1417mm. Its a few months old now so there will be a bit of stretch in there too, maybe a few mm? Thats with the long cage XO.

Please dont make me count the links !

Hope this helps.

I have been using SRAM x-9 on my Reign for almost a year, and it works great.
