SRAM forks?

Picked up another MTB project. I was looking the bike over. It’s a NRS-3 F/S. I’m puzzled with these front forks. I googled to searched info on these. Couldn’t find any literature. If anyone has ever own these, or know if these are rare. Please let me know.
