At most it would be a 25g difference, which is minimal. I'm wondering if 25g would be worth an extra $50 to me? $2/gram. Hmmmm...

FYI I went ahead and ordered the XO1.
I know for 11spd X01, it weighed exactly the same as the XX1. This is my X01:

They’re identical, with the exception of the gold Ti-nitride coating on XX1. The coating actually adds 6g to the XX1 according to SRAM. Whether or not the plating actually adds durability, or is just hype is a tough one to get to the bottom of.

That 50t cog is going to wear out first anyways, not sure that the gold coating is going to extend the life of the cassette considering I can't find a replacement 50t cog anywhere. I'm surprised the aftermarket isn't making them, but if anyone knows of one please post a link!
