I have a rookie question. SRAM shows both a single click and standard shifter throughout their Eagle series. What's the difference between standard and single click? what do I want?

I'm guessing single click only allows one click as the name implies? If that's the case...definitely want the standard so you can run the gears as needed.

As I understand it, the single click shifter is intended for e-bikes due to the added stress on the drivetrain. You can only downshift one click at a time.

Make sense. In that case...definitely get the standard. It's pretty useful at times being able to drop gears quickly.
