Has anyone tried the SRAM DoubleTap 10 Flatbar in place of a MTN shifter?

I am just curious how a DoubleTap would feel or how the actuation would differ from the MTN triggers like X7,X9,XO,XX.

If you have experience with SRAM DoubleTap 9, that would be applicable as well.

I have been wanting to try the DoubleTap, too. Would have ordered them last week if I could have bought just the rear shifter. The price on the X-7 trigger was just too good for my needs.

so could the double-tap shifter be a reasonable option if someone wanted to build up a monster-cross bike?

Well I am not sure how it would work with drop bars, but its meant for straight bars.

I loved my double tap on my drop bar cross bike.. I think it could work very well on a flat bar bike too...
