They make it in both 32 and 34. The problem with the 34 is the second gear on both are the same, so you have a bigger jump going from 1st to 2nd.subzero said:I was thinking of going to the 11-34 cog made by SRAM. The specs say I have a rear SRAM 9.0 cog. What's the cog size for that one? Is it a 12-32? I need help on deciding which to get. Thanks!
Thanks I took a closer look to my cassette, and its a Shimano cassette. By the way it's a 34. I want to go with the SRAM cassette and SRAM chain in the near future. I think there's no SRAM on the rear cog at all. It's all Shimano. Time for some changes. I have SRAM Rocket triggers 1.1 and they shift great.S-Works said:They make it in both 32 and 34. I switched from XTR 12-32 8spd to 9 spd, and the 32 9.0 worked fine. I originally got the 34 thinking it has a lower gear, may as well have it. But I did not like the big jump to second and I discovered I really did not need the 34. I don't know if that answered you question, good luck.
