My axs dropper gets stuck. Its worse when fully compress. When half compress, it gets stuck sometimes. Its like there is a servo/gear that is unable to open a latch. When its stuck fully compressed, it needs a good number of times for it to be released and in the meanwhile, there is a constant buzzing of a servo sound. It doesnt get stuck when the dropper is in "service mode". My dropper post is 3 months old and (fingers cross), no crashes on this bike yet.

Im thinking its a gear/servo problem, since there is no problem when its in "service mode". There is no play or sag, it just wont "release" the seat to full.

Any with experience on this issue?

So annoying, I was so careful with this new expensive post. Someone was guessing that oil and air switched places causing a hydraulic lock which makes sense. Now I have to wait for the bike company to reply on how to deal with, most likely an international warranty claim. Im going to opt for more reliable parts, these things take pleasure out of this hobby.

Unfortunately these things can happen. With every brand/product. Hope the fix it asap.

I'm using two AXS droppers (On my HT and Fully) for almost two years. Never had any problems. Few weeks ago the AXS went down half an cm during riding. Released some air with the tool that came with the dropper and is wat all good again. More happy with these droppers then the Fox factory droppers I had in the past.

This was what happened to my axs dropper. The authorised sram service centre said it was an internal floating piston problem and fixed a couple of newish axs dropper with the same problem recently. Official Sram said to warranty claim the product, I had to send it back to where I bought it from, which is in another country. So I had to pay out of pocket for this fix. The sram authorised service centre quoted the price for the warranty claim is more expensive than the repair job.

I bought a bikeyoke for reliability. Maybe there was a bad batch of axs dropper maybe sram droppers are unreliable, who knows. I know their international warranty is as good as non-existent and forcing you to buy locally even when its poor pricing. If I were to ship the dropper for a warranty claim to another country and have it sent back to me, it will cost $150usd and without the dropper for 1 month or maybe more.

Sram has one of the the worse international warranty. Will be avoiding Sram products as far as I can.
