Anyone out there know the differences in technology between the 07 and 08 SRAM attack twist shifters? Most places have the 07 model on sale now and I was wondering if there were any differences that would warrant getting the current over the previous or vice versa. Thanks.

No difference, except maybe in price. You know that SRAM Attack is designed to work only with Shimano mechs, or other 2:1 actuation(non-SRAM 1:1 actuation) derailleurs, right? If you run SRAM X.5/X.7/X.9/X.0 rear derailleurs- you need to get either the X.9 or the sweet(and expensive) X.0 twisters, instead.
