[one eyed poacher]

My new Rock Shox Tora 302 is really, really noisy on rebound and compression. It sounds like an athsmatic on honeymoon doing the bounce on a rusty posturepedic. Is this normal?

(Mechanically, ride wise, it is surpriseingly efficient considering the low $)

that is just the oil going through the "circuitry"...maybe your rebound is a tad slow..so it makes even more noise...
