I have a large 2003 SL with an xt disc build kit and a few upgrades. I absolutely love this bike but I have an issue that is getting close to being a deal breaker. I have been chasing a squeak for a while and have finally figured out it is in the upper shock mount. What is the trick to lubing this thing properly so it will go more than one ride without starting in again. Any and all ideas appreciated.

thats a tricky one, mine doesn't squeak at all, I friend's does squeak. also another guy's blur does an annoying squeak that you can hear like a mile away, and a third guy's Blur is not squeaking, go figures.

So what have you done about it already? On a fs bike I just expect to have to clean/relube pivots and mounts periodically. SC should have the maintenance guide on their site for the pivot/mounts It'll include lube instructions and torque specs for shock mount as part of that...
