[Hellbound]

Currently building up my Heckler....well working on finishing up on ordering parts for it... and have a Fox DHX 5.0 Coil rear shock with a 350x2.80 spring on it.....which I believe is the standard one it comes with. Now I weigh in at around 235 so I am wondering if this spring will be enough for me. Just curious as to what other clyde riders similar to my weight are using for a spring on this same particular shock. Thanks in advance.

My god springs are expensive!! I'm thinking of going with the 500 spring weight which is based on someone 220 but I'm planning on shedding some weight once I'm riding but still I'm blown away. Bummer......well just more money.

where are you looking at springs? generally springs direct from fox are in the $30-40 range.

I'm an idiot.lol I was looking at titamium springs from a google search. Well....this is a huge relief.

FWIW, you can get the Fox spring by calling them direct 1-800-FOX-SHOX. I think the last one I bought from them was around $37 shipped.
