Hey i live in West Hartford CT. I just starting to really get in the downhill and freeride part of mountain biking and i love it. i freeriding about a year ago and finally got a good bike. i ride an 04 demo 9 with a fox 40 rc2. and i love it. and i was just wondering if there was anyone out there that knows any good downhill and freeride places around the West Hartford area? im will to drive a little ways to. but yeah if any one has any good spots. So anything good around?

Demo, you might want to check the CT forum but I heard Trumbull is the place to ride over there. Some nice drops to practice, I guess you'll have to do a little pedaling though.
If you feel like taking a trip, hit Diablo Freeride Park for DH/FR.
I use a few spots in Westchester County (NY) that are good but I'm not sure how far that is from you.

I agree, Trumbul is the place to ride around here, for FR riders. It has a couple big wall rides, like "the big green monster". You will have to pedal uphill though...No lift service.

Mt. Killington and Mt. Snow are two dedicated DH parks with lift service to the top. They are both kinda far out of the way though, in VT

ar ya trumbull is very good place to pin some poo.
its got alot of good freeride

and some good dh trails ( were working on that )
