Hey all you wheelbuilding gurus and structural engineers out there,

I'm building a set of wheels and am considering going with DT revolutions, I am wondering if they will work for my application or if I should just use supercomps or comps. These will not be race day wheels.

I weigh about 155 with full camelback and ride aggressive cross country sometimes on rocky trails. I dont seem to damage my equipment just my body. These will be used on a 5" travel full suspenson bike, and also on a long travel hardtail (140mm fork).

The wheels will be 26" bontrager dusters with 32 spokes laced to hope pro 2 hubs.

Thanks, Jim

Thanks, I will be having some fun tensioning the spokes. Not too much tho, I make a small mark on the spokes near the nipple with a sharpie so I can see how much they twist. I use plain silver spokes otherwise the mark would be too hard to see through my bifocals.
