I raced an entire season my Xyclone Discs with Comp S tires and ultralight tubes. I've got Stan's system and want to take these wheels to tubeless. I've heard that the Comp S Lite is a horrible tire with Stans (even though I really, really love it) so, I was wondering:

1) Anyone converted these wheels to Stan's before, AND

2) What do you guys think about running Continental Explorer Protection's as a replacement to my Comp S, once I go tubeless?

...thoughts?

Conti's good

I can't vouch for experience with Spinergys or Michellins, but I do like the Stan's system and Continental tires. Check Stan's web site and see what the recommedations are. Also he's pretty good about giving email feedback and advice.

Continentals are great tires. Great tread design for efficient roll, yet grippy in corners, even on hardpack. One of my fav tires and working great with NoTubes on Crossmax SL wheels.

Are your Spinergy's UST ready?

Xyclone tubeless conversion

I've used both Stan's and Eclipse tubeless systems with the Xyclone disc wheels, and both worked great. Sorry, no experience with Michelin.
