Anyone using Spinergy Xyclone Disc wheelset?

Comments? Reports? Opinions? Reviews...etc?

Also, post pics of your bike with them...I reckon they're the funkiest looking wheels going around!!! (with all the cool spoke colour options now available).

Spinergy wheels

I have the Xyclone disc on a Titus Moto-lite. If you look in the Titus porn forum there are pictures of my bike with them installed. I weigh in at about 280lbs and these wheels have held up to anything that I have given them, They have no flex and have never even needed to be trued. I've had them about 9 months and have had no problems. They look awesome and the freewheel is LOUD:D I love them. Customer service is awesome as well:thumbsup:

I haven't owned them but my quick test on them was quite the opposite from Eddie: I found them to be not stiff at all, in fact, I thought these were the flexiest wheels I ever tried. And I weigh 165-170 lbs and am a smooth XC rider!

But a 5 minute spin is not the best experience I guess... enough for me to avoid them though.

Did you do a search?

They get mixed reviews on here.

They do look sharp in person. I have beat on mine since the summer. I have no complaints. I use them for more than just cross country. I have no problem dropping 2-3 foot on these and bounching around the rocky trails of Northern NJ. I have the 2006 version.

There has been info on these before. I have them on my Trek Liquid.

I had a couple questions and Spinergy got back to me by email in a day. I did not pay full MSRP, you can find them for a decent price if you shop around.
