Hi,
This was my first time building a bike and I think I've routed the cables for the shifters wrong. Basically, most pictures I've seen show cables from the shifter going to the opposite side of the head tube and I'm trying to figure out where and how they cross back over.

May I please see a picture of how some of you have routed the cables? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Huge thanks,
Hector

I only run a rear shifter but I've always run my shifter cable to the cable stop on the opposite side of the bike purely to prevent the outer rubbing on the frame. I then cross the bare outer back to the drive side across the top tube (or beneath depending on cable routing) . . . though in the case of my SS, I run a full outer straight down the middle ;) .

Hope that makes sense.

Your rear brake gets activated by the left side lever?
