What's the fastest you've pedaled your SS on a flat trail/road? And with what gear? I was spinning like heck yesterday and hit 26.5mph with 32x16 26" bike. Very good workout if done several times.

that's roughly 170 rpm

using my Hooker Performance gear-cadence sliderule, and interpolating since its lowest gear is 60", that's how fast you were pedaling, probably within a few rpms. That's fast considering you got what, 175mm cranks, maybe 180s, and most trackies race on 165s.

All you need to do is spin

Thanks to the all-mighty Google I found http://www.panix.com/~jbarrm/cycal/cycal.30f.html

I rolled my wheel out on a tape measure and got a 26.3" wheel.

Pedalin like...

heck then.

What's wrong with a computer on a bike (SS)? Nothing. Don't worry about it if it doesn't involve you. I thought the point was just to ride however you want to ride or am I missing something here?
