Specialty Spokes?

Does anyone know where to purchase replacement spokes for Vuelta XRP Team SL's? I need 264 mm bladed spokes. The local bike shops don't deal with Vuelta and cannot order any spokes. The online store where I bought the wheelset sells them for $8 for 4 spokes!!!!!!!:eekster: :madmax: :madman: I really don't want to spend that kind of money if someone knows of a better place. I e-mailed Vuelta and have not received a reply yet.

As system wheels spokes go, those are cheap. I would buy them.
$2 a spoke...compare that to Mavic and you'll realize the bargain your getting
those dont look like specialty spokes.. looks like a standard j-hook. you could use any bladed spoke, or even use a standard run of the mill round spoke.
Thanks for the replies. The reason I called them "specialty" spokes was mainly because my LBS called them that and said that I could only use spokes made by Vuelta. I asked him why and he made some lame reason about warranty, blah, blah, blah. I told him I wasn't concerned about the warranty. He told me he couldn't help me.
Figure out what length's and guage and order from most any online retailer . 2 buck's each for bladed spokes is not out of line FWIW .

AFAIK the spokes are specially drawn to Vuelta specs, but they are normal J-bend type. This means you can use any standard spoke (and nipple) as replacements. They may not match the stock spoke, which may or may not change how the wheels feels. Any bladed replacement spoke will cost at least $2.

Some past Vuelta wheels used bladed aluminum spokes.
