Specialized Riprock Chain Rub

I recently purchased a Riprock 20" on Ebay for my son. I just put the bike together and I have chain rub on the tire while in the largest 34t cog. I'm curious what my issue is and what part(s) I need to swap out. The listing from the seller said that the rear derailleur, chain, and crankset were recently replaced. I'm leaning toward the crankset being the culprit of the bad chain line. If that's it, any ideas on how to space it? After researching the chain used, perhaps it's too wide but doesn't seem like that would make a ton of a difference.

The chain is marked with "Bible Z80" and the rear derailleur is a Shimano Altus. The crankset doesn't have many markings on it. Everything else is stock and original, including the 2.8 inch Specialized tires.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated! I need to get this bike up and running for Christmas!

Assuming that's a square taper BB, a BB with a longer spindle would space it out a little more.

I think ours is very close to rubbing the chain or does rub so I think it's the design. I haven't looked at it recently because my kids outgrew it. Maybe drop the tire pressure a little to not have the tire stretch as much and then check to make sure your hanger is straight so it's not sitting in further.
Hi. Did you find the problem? I have Hotrock and try to install same derailleur with the chain line problems. But on the opposite side of the gears. My chain doesn’t go nicely over the big jockey wheel when on the smallest cog. I have also installed SunRace 7 speed freewheel that makes the problem even worse as it moves chainline more skew.
Thanks.
You could lock out the largest cog.

You could get a longer BB or a crank with more BB offset.

You could dish the rear wheel over a mm or two.

Good morning.
I have resolved the problem with the new derailleur hanger, even though the old one looked straight.
I was trying to move the wheel but it didn't help.

Thank you for help.
