I'm trying to remove the endcaps on my front hub and I can't figure out how to do it. link to picture
This is the hub:
Hi Lo disc, CNC flange, sealed cartridge bearing, 9mm DT RWS, alloy QR, 28h (from Specialized website for 2010 Stumpjumper FSR elite); used on OEM DT420SL Wheelset

The caps twist but don't screw off. The silver axle piece doesn't tap out with any safe/moderate amount of force. There isn't enough room for a small screwdriver to pry them (hub overlaps cap).
So...what do I do?

The hub end caps just pull off. They are on tight so it may be tough to pull them off but they don't require any special tools or anything to take off, just pull them straight out.

I know this thread is a couple months old, but I have this exact same wheel. I have not tried to remove my end caps yet, but in the meantime does anyone know the bearing size in this hub?
