I broke one of the downtube cable clamps on my enduro and cant find a shop with replacement ones, any ideas? Or an aluminum aftermarket one would be nice.

I actually plan to make some for my bike out of aluminum. I work at a machine shop so I going to use my EDM machine. hehe.

dork boy when you make some up make me few replacements as long as you not going charge a bunch it would be nice to have a few spares.

The ones Im going to make are actually for my Pitch and my wifes Myka fsr. But if they are the same for the enduro, then I will bang off a bunch of them for you guys. Once I get the programing done, the EDM work then the milling. I will make sure they fit good on our bikes, then if so, I will post here and let you know.

Hey everybody. So I finally got the programming done today and 2 test pieces. I changed the top curve a bit, so they are a bit beefier. I have some final touch ups to do tomorrow, and after that, everything should be ready to go. I copied the exact size of the radii, so if you have different cables, it could be a bit tight.
They are being made out of aluminum, so you can always get them anodized to make them hot.

Once I have them done to my satisfaction, I will post some photos of them and they will be up for sale.
They will be $10/each or $25/ for 3 including shipping. You can pay via paypal.


So that is the update for today, you will hear from me tomorrow.

Ok everybody,
so here is the 1st one, it's a little rough to make sure the design is right. The others are much cleaner, with just minor filing , they also have a deeper counterbore so the allen head is more hidden.

Hey, so here are photos of the final product. I have them mounted on my Pitch and my wifes Myka fsr. I checked at the LBS and they will fit on the enduro's. They are all the same mount. You will notice that we have Hope SS brakelines that are larger than none SS lines, so that is why there is a gap in the derailleur lines.

So they are $10/each or $25/for 3 including shipping if you are in Canada. If you want them now and you are in the US, shipping is $3, or wait until April 2nd and I will ship them when I am in Whitefish, for free. It's up to you. I will ship anywhere in the world as well.
I use paypal for payments, and can have them shipped within 1 day.

Those are sweet. The extra bottom part might interfere with non-round tubes.

Have you tried calling Specialized? I'm sure they stock parts like this. The custom ones are cool, but OEM is good also.

I could try to re-write the cnc program to get one more slot in there. Of course the whole clamp would be wider too. Let me play with it tomorrow and I will msg you once I know what I can do.
