Hi,
i have a 2005 specialized big hit FSR with a blackspire DS1 crankset. I was just wondering if anyone new a bottom bracket that would fit this model as mine needs replacing. Any help would be much apriciated,

Is the DS-1 not just the name for the chainguide? If your cranks are Blackspire, too, then the chances are that you'll need a Shimano Octalink BB. The easiest way to know for sure which BB you'll need is to just remove the one that you already have; the dimensions will be written on it. If you decide to replace your cranks, then just get whichever BB is appropriate to those. As far as I know, your BB shell is 73mm.
