Has anyone tried these tires on their mountain bike? I'm going on vacation with my bike and bought this at the LBS so I can ride road if the trails are messy (I also bought 26X1 tubes). They weigh around 285 grams. Any opinions or advice would be appreciated.

700c version

I used the 700c version for a year and they were nice, good grip in the wet for a slick, and seemed to hold up well, and were quiet and fast. A pretty good tire.

Great Tire !

I have used these tires for the past 2 years when using my Stumpjumper on Century Rides. ( can't afford a road bike yet ) These are great tires, they are fast, offer good traction on pavement , and are sure footed in the rain. I like them better than Fat Boys, even though they cost almost twice as much.
