Hi all, I'm rebuilding an enduro and while at it replacing all the pivot bearings. I had a mare with the 4 pairs of blind installed, 2 on the main pivot and 2 pair in the rest arm.

But as I'm coming back to install the new bearings I've noticed the spacers for the pivot pairs are not symmetrical they have a shoulder on one side and like a muppet I didn't realise when I removed them, (but oddly enough the spacers on the 2 pairs on the rear arm have shoulders on both sides).

I'm sort of thinking it doesn't matter which way but if anyone knows for sure I'd appreciate the nod

Im not sure if the manual is correct but it will help you. Look at 16th page

Thanks that’s top draw stuff, didn’t know a manual was available. Greatly appreciated.

the schematic says chamfer goes towards bearing so not sure when there’s one either side.

This bike in past have done rebuilt on LBS? If yes can the LBS lost this spacer and put another similar

Just thought I would post a couple of images of my Enduro respray and bearing rebuild. Quite pleased with the work but some learnings to be had. Sprayed matt black with Gloss decals for an urban look.

Really please with the final result, (should of painted the pivot bolts black too, but live and learn).
