Howdy all,

If you are like me. Everytime you suffer up a crazy long steep climb on your 29 you remember the day when you rode a 26 and had one easier gear. Those days have returned. Your lungs and legs will thank you.

Have been testing this 20 tooth chainring all spring with great results. I do not notice any trouble shifting between this ring and my middle ring like I thought I would.

A friend of mine who is involved in the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame made this ring happen and all proceeds will benefit the Hall of Fame.

Interesting, but the price is higher than Boone same offering.
Whoa! Bummer. Just when we thought we were cool. Oh well.

However! Boone does not offer the chainring bolts that are specifically designed to fit this ring. If you use the typical bolts that come with a typical crankset, your chain will hit the bolts before the chainring.

What chainring bolts are you using with your 20 tooth? Did you modify or find another source?

Can you make some in stainless steel and cut the cost? How about a 30 tooth middle (or is that commonly available)? That would give my 29er about perfect gearing.

A couple of good things are included in this deal it seems to me.

Anything made by Paragon is well thought out, absolute top quality and worth every penny.

Supporting the MTBHOF is something that benefits the sport. If you have never been there before go to their website @ http://www.mtnbikehalloffame.com/home.cfm or when in Crested Butte be sure to stop in and check it out.
