Yeah, the pathetic attempt at humor (the south of the border bit) made a lot more sense on this forum than on Passion, but I still kept the theme. It's funny how riled up people get at the littlest things...scar said:Too funny all of the confusion and drama tha the x-post in Passion is causing - http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=581572 . I guess they just don't get the Front Range humor?
Oh by the way guys, looks like a rockin' good time! Never been down there (yet).

Hooters was mostly dry but freeride off the rock roller dropped into fresh powder, your gonna have moisture on your tires for most of the down hill sections until things warm up.
At this point the park is 95% dry and what is left is less than 1/2inch in the shaded areas.
This weekend will be fun, although riding fresh pow in the preserve is still lots of fun as well.
It just adds to the challenge. I went a bit too fast down the rock roller > wood bridge on freeride, then slid out on the flat rock at the end of the bridge (with snow on it). Tons of fun...pastajet said:I
I will load some pics and videos in a bit, but there was still a bit of snow in the canyons, especially on the rocks. I brought my whisk broom and cleared off most of the snow (plus some dirt) on the rocks that we ride. It was still slippery in spots since your tires had snow on them from other areas.
