How's your hamstring and calf flexibility? Can you touch your toes?
Your core includes your entire posterior chain of muscles, including your glutes and hamstrings. Perhaps you have a weak core. DH requires a strong core, glutes and hamstrings.
Lots of stretching after riding and core work are super helpful.
