Ok, finally got around to getting my Badger Dororthy v2.0 together. Essentially the first version with built in duality. Sexy f'ing bike, no real ride time yet. This is the last time you'll see this puta sucia this clean.

Specs (for the weirdos):

Frame: Badger Dorothy; 24.5" ETT; Niner pinch bolt BB shell and EBB; full cable routing
Fork: Bontrager Switchblade; don't even start on the spacers; just picked up this afternoon; measure a thousand times, cut twice
Cranks: RF Turbine square tapers; 175mm; 94bcd compact drive for all the crazy ring variations; purchased gently used here on MTBR
Chainring: 34t Salsa SS
Rear cog: 21t Boone
BB: UN73; 68mmx107mm; fierce Q factor
Post: Turdbuster LT...just for Padre
Clamp: Snurly; Salsa en route
Stem: Performance Forte (private label Ritchey; $12 with coupon!); total ghetto spec but me likey
Bar: Answer Pro Taper - 27"x25.4mmx2" rise; fourth bike; great bars
HS: C'mon...
Saddle: WTB Lazer V Ti
Wheels: I9s with all the fixings
Brakes: J7s; blue D'boy levers forthcoming from other bike; funky old Hope rotors
Tires: XR front, Nano rear; soon to be Nevegal front, XR rear
Pedals: ATAC Aliums, get some
Chain: used PC69; 'cuz I recycle like dat; can't wait to break it
Cages: Props to Shiggy for the bottle cage reco... I couldn't find my favorite decade old Specialized cages anywhere...go figure

Weight as pictured, uncircumcised, was 24lbs 14oz. Bar and tube changes should bring it down a skosh all while being fully clyde authorized for SSing. Headbadge made of U238 will bump it back up.

Much thanks to Ben Witt of Milltown Cycles (www.milltowncycles.com) for pulling it together for me. Can't wait to get some real miles on it.

Second wave...

BTW - the fillet brazing is unreal. So smooth that it looks like it was molded from clay...makes other fillet brazed frames I've seen look like Taiwan TIG-jobs (not that there's anything wrong with TIG, settle down wannabes :p).

Putting it on the roof rack I noticed the wheelbase is at least 2" shorter than my El Cap...this is going to be fun.

Hmmmm, I'm flattered, I think, if this was the borrowed:

"Something new, st old & st borrowed"

Nice bike. Rigid w/ a TurdBuster, interesting. Ride it hard but don't put it away wet....

Good lord, I see a lot of blue, and a lot of $$$.

Alas, it is indeed a kickass bike. Simple, but its still got some bling to it.

Me likes. ME LIKES A LOT.

Wow! That bike looks awesome. I love the blue and panels really blow my hair back.

Very good looking all around and the fillets top it off.

I honestly did not know what I was going to find lurking in this thread. That "blow me" part kind of scared me at first, then I saw the pics. Great looking bike Soup! The blue is very nice. I know what you mean about the liquidity of the brazing. My Pereira gives me that same feeling when I look at it. I coud stare at it all day...hypnotic.

I jumped in feet first.

I hate pre-emptive strikes: "don't even start on the spacers; just picked up this afternoon; measure a thousand times, cut twice"

I'm looking for something, anything...

You nailed it with the Thudbuster comment. If it's too rough, stand up. For crissakes, it's a singlespeed!

No kidding.

Take a drop-dead sexy bike, and then strip it of dignity with a thud.:nono:
Like a big fat mustache on a supermodel....perhaps even a uni-brow too.:nonod:

But worse...worse....is that stem.....seriously Soup? Seriously? A $120 headset married to a $12 ghetto-fabulous stem?

Rear end....beautiful.
Paint....beautiful.
Fork....painful.
Badger's work...priceless...

Question...what's the over/under on the 4 bike old bars breaking before the Turbines or the used PC69?

I don't have a problem with the stem spacers...that's ugly you can change...

Nice build Sean! Let us know how she rides!
