Would you mind walking me through what you've got going on? I got this thing new but the backplate had already been mounted and you could tell one of the allen heads had been used.........I may actually be missing something. I don't really care about a couple of scratches so I haven't returned it yet.bamxbam said:I ground some of the rubber off the roller so the was more of the metal sleeve showing that backed aganst the washer and it been working fine for a couple of years
Just got off the phone with someone at blackspire. There was a part missing......the metal sleeve that takes the pressure off the roller.CraigH said:Check with JimC, he had one on his Bullet.
One of the guys from Blackspire actually came by his house and set it up for him when the Dewlie first came out.
(Blackspire is located somewhere in the Vancouver area.)
Sounds like the roller is fine. Just need that sleeve. I've got one coming in the mail.bamxbam said:i was going to say you might be missing the sleeve if you in so cal la area I have a couple rollers I'll give ya one
I was going to say that's probably what the problem is, or you overtightened the wheel and crushed the sleeve.kidwoo said:Just got off the phone with someone at blackspire. There was a part missing......the metal sleeve that takes the pressure off the roller.
