Recently got back into biking after a 3 year break. I'm riding a 98 stumpjumper w/ a MOZO(RST) XMO air fork, I'm finding that the 70mm of air travel is not quite enough(perhaps due to my time off) for some of the norcal trails I'm riding. I'm thinking of getting something less than 4 lbs w/ more travel that will work well w/ the hardtail, any suggestions?(around $250-$300) For most trails I like the stumpy the way it is, so I'm also considering converting my old 97 Ground control w/ the moutain speed linkage kit and a stratos FR4 back into a more XC friendly platform. What is a decently light fork that will work well w/ the rear linkage? Thanks!
