Some rotor weights...

My girlfriend runs XTR centerlock rotors and I was looking for something lighter. Here's how a Magura Marta SL with a DT Swiss adapter and lockring measures up against a XTR rotor with the lockring.

It's the price you pay for using CL Hubs..

I prefer that system anyways. Better IMO, but not lighter. Magura Adapters are 58g .
I had a choice and went with CL myself and using DT Swiss Adpaters now.

Now only if somone would make light CL rotors to work with Magura brakes...

DT 240S Disc Hub weights:

DT 240S CL Front: 136g - 6 bolt IS: 154g... CL 18g lighter.

DT 240S CL Rear: 258g - 6 bolt IS: 273g... CL 15g lighter.

Weights from DT Swiss.

So the DT Swiss CL Adpater are 28-29g each.

So with adapters:

Front : 10g heavier - Rear: 14g heavier. Now add you 6 bolts weights and your closer. With standard bolts which weigh 26g for 6 bolts, you are now at 12-16g lighter again. Use Extralite Extrabolt 9 Ti Rotor bolts, the weight is the same.

So when it comes down to it, the overall system is just as light when you combine the hubs, brakes, rotors or Adapters or Bolts.

So it really depends on what system you prefer.

I don't know which hubs is heavier. I never checked when I bouhg t my DT 240 CL hubs. I had a choice and went with CL myself.

These are aluminum rotors from Hyperbolts with the DT adapter and lockring. My GF only weighs a buck o nine so they should work fine. We'll see as soon as the required resin pads show up. I tried them out in the street with the semi metalic pads and they sqealed like a mofo.
