Heres some pics from a trip to Italy we did a few weeks back

Whilist this was not a MTB specific trip like the ones I usually do the USA I did manage to rent a MTB a few times

Our first Ride was at Lake Garda where we did the Mont Tremalzo Loop, the ride starts In Riva Del Garda.

Dont let my pictures mislead you into thinking the ride was all great singletrack, i'd say that just around 5% of the ride was singletrack. The rest was either double track or dirt road and the route we took had quite possibly the steapest / longest hike a bike we had every done !!

From Lake Garda we headed north to the Dolomites I'll post some pics from there in another post

Sorry no we only did the one ride - we did buy a couple of guide books but they are all in GERMAN so we will have to scan them in and then OCR them to try and make some sense out of them for next time

who spoke ok english and they did have a big list of guided tours that they could shuttle you on

Been too busy to do anything with the pictures from our last trip !!

Do you fancy taking the family on a trip to Italy Next year ?

We are already planning on doing another trip next year - I'm sure the girls would love the Via Ferrata !!!

I always look forward to your trip posts. Beautiful! Parts of the Lake Garda ride you did remind me of our Kettle Valley Rail trail here in BC but it's a 2% grade, not what looks like 20% in your pics.
