Kona has some nice ones if you like the geometry.

Otherwise I'd go with Orbea.

I have been riding this frames for years now and never had a problem. They are light and stiff. AND, they are much cheaper than other brands. This is just my satisfactory experience with Giant frames.

I like my Yeti ARC. A little heavier but the ride is sweet. 3.5 lbs I think for a med.

My 18" Kona Kula Primo is the best hardtail I've ever ridden and the frame is 2.7 lbs.

Im considering getting a ventana el chiquillo and building it up anyone have opinions on that company/frame?

Ventana is an awesome complany. Try calling them. Most of the time you speek to the owner/founder/designer. Very informative. I called them up when I was considering a Bruja.

Has anyone heard of klein????? Just kidding, I got a Klein Attitude frame, it's light and its fast, yes fast.. Frame only $879.00 you can find em cheaper, I just bought a back up frame 05' for $425.00. You better hurry the GISTAPO at Trek are looking to phase out Klein within 2yrs rumor has it, GET EM' WHILE YOU CAN........
