Looks like some good times were had for all! Nice stuff. How the heck do you wrap a bike? :D

I only had very little to give to this year and it's an impossible person to buy for, so this year I chickened out and gave a gift certificate. It was warmly welcomed.

I received a Giant NRS frame and a Noleen Mega Air fork. :D Okay, well, I also gave that..... hey, it counts if you buy it for yourself! :)

Later in the evening I was pleasantly surprised by receiving a very nice gift that turned very naughty when unwrapped. :) I guess technically I gave three times with that "gift". :D In keeping with JM's odd theme (???) condom's were part of the theme. ;) And NO I won't be posting any pics of that. :p

Honestly, it might sound cheesy to some, but my best gift was really simply having good people to spend my time with. I'm finding that as I get older it's of greater importance to have people to spend time with. Christmas alone isn't something I ever want to experience.... it's just not Christmas'y.

Okay, gotta finish building a bike and go for my first hypothermatic ride. ;) Someone here want to give me a gift????????? Tell me how to keep my HEAD warm when it's wearing a helmet!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT would be a REALLY nice gift to have.

Go to your LBS and buy yourself a Louis Garneau Belaclava, they're about $20 or so, nice thin dryteck material, it'll fit under most helmets and is amazingly warm. You can use it just as a toque or pull it over your face when it's colder. When it gets really cold, just pick up a helmet rain cover, they really keep the heat in well.

I got a coupla books about Lance for Christmas, some waterproof/windpants, and a guy on a bike sculpture, bought myself a Planet Bike Alias 15 watt lightset, planning on some night riding soon!

We gave supper for 22, all relatives and friends, had a great time!!!

oh..alright

new skis, some books, a fur hat, 32" TV, lots of bike stuff, lots of vintage burgundy, the traditional distilled spirits...brandy, rye, scotch, etc...a new cell 'phone (maybe its a camera/FM radio/video game/text messenger/voice mail thingy that you can also use to call people), lots of CD's and DVD's

probably why i began to remark around here a few weeks ago that this year was probably the most commercial Christmas that I recall ( i big deal at my age)...good thing that we may be living in a tent for most of the summer.

anyway, bindings were put on the new skis this afternoon, we'll try them out tomorrow AM...as I type here watching the new TV hooked up to the new satelite receiver...

cheers
