I wonder what I'm going to do with it?
Why it's even got a new air cartridge and everything!
Hmmm....thinking....thinking...
I wonder if any special friends on the 29er board can help me come up w/ a constructive plan for it.....

NoDonut,
If you're buying the Buzz Bomb frame from Nathan, make sure that your steerer tube on your fork is long enough for the headtube on the bike. My Marzocchi I took off of my (large) Mt Tam wound up being too small, even with all the spacers removed.

The head tube on the Buzz Bomb is a lot longer than a Fisher headtube.

Marzocchi quoted me about $65 to have a new steerer pressed in.

Don't ask how I know this....

Wow, if I had a nice fork like that.... I'd put it on my bike... even if it DIDN'T have a disc mount. I wonder how much I could pick up a used one for?

It would need to have a fairly long steerer tube, say 8" or so...

Sadly, I'm quite farmiliar with having Marzocchi re-fit steerers....
Look at the head-tube on my Ice Bike: https://www.shavings.net/images/bikes/ice/icebike.jpg

Luckily I only paid $50- for the forks ( used, but ridded <10x )

Is it just me, or is every informing post on here now being turned in a sell-bid-beg thing that I have to ask an ad link for?
If the guy doesn't ask for buyers for his possession, then please also don't offer yourself as a volunteer to get him in trouble with me. Everyone here says they're 6'8", well HA!

The past weeks I've been feeling like the SPAM police, where my job is just to make sure that everyone posts correct weights with all info...

My advice for Padre : trade the fork for an (almost) new drivetrain you're going to have to buy at some point anyway.

I just bought your CX-1 that, i assume, you never had! You must have one hell of a rotating parts stock!

NOW I can use that 6.5" CX-1 steerer (saving the WB $95 steerer replacement fee) on the Supercaliber in my other post!
