I woke to a few inches of snow in Fruita today. What a great thing, as I was actually looking forward to the first snow ride. I tried to get my son to go with me, but he looked at me sideways as though I had just lost my mind. Oh well, at 16 he's rather capricious, and I think he was disappointed in missing out after he heard about the ride. Anyway, the sun came out and it made for a rather patriotic ride: red sandstone, white snow and blue sky.

Cool pics, I'm sure I rode with the guy in the red jacket over the summer while the Turner crew were in town...
Very possible, as he is a Fruita Local. Although he was working in the high country a lot over the summer.

Awesome pics - we just got a few inches of snow in WA. Went for my first snow ride on sunday and had a great time...that is until i got a stick caught in my front rotor and endo'ed, rendering my front brake useless for the rest of the ride
