For sale is Gary Fisher "Marlin" Mountain Bike in good condition. Front shocks are RockShox. Shifters and front and rear derailers are Shimano. All the components are good quality, and the frame is strong and light. Price is $600 cash or check on pickup.

Closest I can tell is it is a 2001 or 2002

That makes it an 8 year old bike though it looks like it has the original tires and looks pretty fresh. Someone bought it and decided not to use it. New they were under $500. Feels like your basic Craigslist attempt for big dollars. $600? No way though being Craigslist someone might pay it. I wouldn't pay more than $300, $350 absolute tops.

Yeah i've been looking for another bike on craigslist, this is pretty much the norm around here. $600... it must come with a roof rack.

Aside from agreeing with Berkeley, I wouldn't buy from someone who is inflating the price that much - that screams dishonest seller.

I wouldn't offer more than $150 for that bike.
