so $700 per person tickets to whister are too expensive, so it looks like I'm in the market for a new vacation destination. Any ideas? I need a place where I can do stuff with the family, yet has tons of biking opportunities for me. Pretty much I want the closest thing to whistler I can find in the states. My parents are thinking Colorado, what are the bike parks like there? other ideas?

Where were you flying into go get to Whistler? Flying into Vancouver is usually much more expensive than flying into Seattle and the extra 2hr drive from Seattle is no big deal. I've done it that way several times. Never ponied up for the tik straight into Vancouver.
