How did you keep that nasty, sticky east bay hills mud from sticking to everything and caking up the tread on your tires? The last time i rode up mission peak when it was moderately wet, it cost me a derailleur hanger after the drivetrain became clogged with that goop.

every year they place so much gravel down that it rarely gets muddy.
the stanford side will pretty much be ridable all year round
the ohlone side the only problem is singletrack section

I went up via mill creek road this morning, jump gate at top of single track and went up the gravel section
