I don't think he's interested in carrying the light portion of the solar charger around. Lol.

Missed you tonight on Green Mtn. Great turnout like last week. Check this link out, they are in Colorado Springs - http://www.solar-world.com/batterychargers.htm

SPC-4 Recharges (2, 3 or 4) AA or AAA size batteries simultaneously in one day. Up to 100 ma in full sun. 3 1/2 x 2 3/4 x 3/4", 1.5 oz.

Click on the small thumbnail. It is the one in upper left (front and back view)

Realistically , it will take three to four days to fully recharge 4 AA with one of these.

Not much spec. to base an opinion on it, but looking at the size of the Silva charger, I
think their estimates are realistic; at least much more so than the SPC4 charger.
