I need to make pair of wheels for 90 kg rider for enduro/dh usage. Bike have 110x15 and 148x12 dropouts. Also it must be centerlock and microspline. Only I have on local market is SLX M7110 and M7110B, is it suitable for hard riding?
I have a lot of faith in about anything Shimano that's in the Deore - XT or 105 - Ultegra ranges. My son who's far more of a send it and break stuff from "just riding along" rider than me did in rims, pedals and derailleur but not the Deore hubs a notch below.
My daughter has SLX hubs on her carbon SJ comp. She’s light and gentle so not a good test. Nonetheless, I’d run them no problem. In fact, I’d run her whole SLX equipped SJ no problem. That’s a killer trail bike with a super solid component spec.
